The three workshops of the 8th cycle of CapsuleT, were successfully held on January 15, 2026, January 22, 2026, and January 27, 2026. The speakers included N. Baka, Head of Legal Compliance Division & Head of Tourism Inspection & Certification Dept.; K. Gkiokas, Business Development – Mergers & Acquisitions Director, Head of HR & Compliance Coordinator GR, CY, AL, JO; V. Giannakopoulou, Head of Quality Management; and Tr. Amer, Managing Director of TÜV AUSTRIA Trust IT, part of the TÜV AUSTRIA Group of Companies in Greece.

The 1st workshop, titled “Delivering a Five-star Customer Experience – Negotiate for a Better Deal”, was delivered by Ms. Nonika Baka and Mr. Kostas Gkiokas. During the workshop, customer experience was approached as a “profit generator” and its connection to customer loyalty, communication and customer service techniques, methods for handling crises, disputes, and complaints and transforming them into improvement tools, as well as types, recognition, and management of negotiations.

The 2nd workshop, titled “Trust & Confidence to Your Business by Integrating Specific KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) – Financial, Customer, People & Process Metrics”, was delivered by Ms. Valia Giannakopoulou. The session covered core principles, identification methods, criteria and data determination, data collection and processing mechanisms, categorization, definition and implementation of KPIs, as well as ways to monitor indicators and evaluate data and information to enhance the organization and operation of a business.

The 3rd workshop, titled “Cybersecurity for Startups”, was delivered by Mr. Tryfon Amer. The session covered modern challenges and threats in the digital environment, as well as best practices for protecting growing businesses. The fundamental security layers were analyzed, along with critical processes for the prevention and detection of cyberattacks, essential tools for safeguarding information systems, and methods for incident management and post-breach recovery. At the same time, practical guidance was provided on designing security policies, training teams, and fostering a cybersecurity culture within an organization.

TÜV AUSTRIA Hellas, with enthusiasm and a forward-looking perspective, has been actively supporting this meaningful and promising initiative as a strategic partner since the very first cycle, contributing to the educational program aimed at strengthening Greek startup entrepreneurship in the tourism sector.
