We are pleased to announce the beginning of MICROIDEA – “MICRO-credentials: Identifying, DEveloping, testing and Assessing innovative approaches” European Project.
During the kick – off meeting, on January 25th, 2024, the project’s partners:
- University of Peloponnese, German Hellenic Industrial and Commercial Chamber, TÜV AUSTRIA HELLAS, ACRONYM Ltd and p-Consulting- C.M. Skoulidi & Sia, from Greece
- G. Eurosuccess Consulting Ltd and Nicosia Chamber of Commerce and Industry, from Cyprus
- DomSpain S.L. and Cámara Oficial de Comercio Industria Servicios y Navegación de Reus, from Spain
- Instytut Analiz Rynku Pracy, from Poland and
- European Forum of Technical and Vocational Education and Training, from Belgium
confirmed the content, the objectives and the deliverables of the several project’s work packages, presented the management and reporting tools to be used, defined the timeline and responsibilities for each phase of the project and agreed on the next steps.
The project’s MICROIDEA – “MICRO-credentials: identifying, developing, testing and assessing innovative approaches” objectives are:
- the development of a micro-credentials’ assessmenet system based on the requirements of the International Standard ISO/IEC 17024
- the development of a specific methodology for the harmonisation between the national certification systems (where they exist, for non formal training) and ISO/IEC 17024 certification
- the development and implementation of a web-based tool for the analysis of skills’ needs
- the implementation of the micro-credentials assessment system based on the requirements of the ISO/IEC 17024 International Standard for a professional specialty in the tourism sector.
