With great success the official presentation of the new Continuous Professional Development Advanced level programme for the technical and construction sector took place on Tuesday the 20th May at the conference centre of TÜV AUSTRIA Hellas. This training programme is under the title: ‘‘Analysis, Evaluation & Application of Structural Repair & Protection Methods according to the principles of the European Standard EN 1504’’. Mr. Vraxnos has also participated on behalf of the Ministry of Infrastructure, Transport and Networks.

During the OPEN DAY the possibility of complete observation of the training programme though the online training platform of TÜV AUSTRIA ACADEMY (Hellas) was presented taking into account the time pressure of all professionals who may probably be interested in ELEARNING participation (distance learning). Both the lectures and all the educational material in the electronic platform in general will be filmed and will be available to the trainees. There will be accesses (usernames & passwords) to all participants as well as an open forum which will run through this platform where participants will have the opportunity to make questions that will be answered by the speakers. Also, the instructors will be available for personalized meetings in order to answer questions at a time arranged directly with them. Deadline for submitting an entry to the program is Tuesday 27/05/2014 (for conventional classroom observation) or Wednesday 11/06/2014 (for observation via web). Successful completion of the course results to a technical adequacy certificate given by the accredited organization for certification of persons, TÜV AUSTRIA CERT.

Furthermore, except for the official presentation of the programme, there was the presentation of the trainers too: 17 distinguished scientists coming from both the Higher Education Community being currently professors of domestic and foreign Universities, and the business field, as they are important market executives (technical managers of multinational companies some of whom will come directly by the parent companies from abroad to teach).
