Who Is it Addressed To?

The Certification is addressed to the professional, who, as part of his general duties, uses the available digital technologies related to nutritional assessment, nutritional food analysis, patient care planning through telemedicine, monitoring and self-care for people suffering from chronic diseases, as well as mobile phones’ digital applications focused on various diseases (mental health, diabetes mellitus, obesity, bariatric surgery, arterial hypertension, cardiovascular diseases, etc.) and healthy dietary habits (Mediterranean diet, physical activity, recognition and avoidance of nutritional risks, etc.).

Certification Procedure:

The examination process consists of a theoretical examination.

Upon successful completion of the examination, the professional is awarded a certificate of compliance that is valid for five years.

The Certification procedure for this specialization is Accredited by the Hellenic Accreditation System (E.SY.D.), in accordance with the requirements of the ISO/IEC 17024 International Standard.
