ΕΚΒΑ Gap Assessment
Description
The Greek National Industrial Security Regulation (EKBA) is a set of rules, the object of which is to establish measures and procedures to ensure the protection of National Classified Information – Materials (ΕΔΠΥ). EKBA concerns organizations and businesses that gain access to ΕΔΠΥ through research, development programs, special studies for the benefit of the Armed Forces (ΕΔ), as well as programs or contracts with them. EKBA covers a wide range of issues, such as the organization of security in an organization or business, risk assessment and requirements for the security means and equipment used, issues of personnel security authorizations, as well as the conditions for inspection and facility certification. TÜV AUSTRIA HELLAS, through the EKBA Gap Assessment service, covers the need to carry out a pre-audit in order to identify the gaps that exist in relation to EKBA requirements.
Who is it addressed to?
EKBA Gap Assessment service concerns and can be delivered to organizations or companies that are preparing or want to implement the provisions of the National Industrial Security Regulation (EKBA) because they implement research, development programs, special studies for the benefit of the Armed Forces (ΕΔ), as well as programs or contracts that may contain Nationally Classified Information (ΕΔΠΥ) material. The provision of the EKBA Gap Assessment service gives the organization or business a complete report of the actions that must be implemented in order to proceed with obtaining a Facility Security Certificate (ΠΕΑ) from the National Security Authority (ΕΑΑ).
