Environmental Management, Occupational Health and Safety

Who Is it Addressed To?

The scheme concerns employees who specialize in Environmental Management and Occupational Health & Safety. They assess the environmental impacts of projects and activities and design and implement environmental management systems, such as ISO 14001. They manage waste, pollutants, and hazardous substances, monitor environmental indicators, and train personnel on sustainable development. They conduct occupational risk assessments, develop and implement health and safety management systems (e.g., ISO 45001), and prepare emergency plans. They carry out workplace inspections, train employees in the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), manage accidents, ensure compliance with legislation, collaborate with relevant authorities, and prepare reports and audits.

Certification Procedure

The examination process consists of a theoretical examination.

Upon successful completion of the examinations, the professional is awarded a certificate of compliance that is valid for five years.

The Certification procedure for this specialization is Accredited by the Hellenic Accreditation System (E.SY.D.), National Accreditation System (E.SY.D.), in accordance with the requirements of the ISO/IEC 17024 International Standard.
