Transition to the new version of the Standard ISO 22301

As part of the transition plan from ISO 22301:2012 to ISO 22301:2019 governed by international IAF and ESYD accreditation regulations, the following apply:

  • A three-year transition period is provided for the adaptation to the requirements of the ISO 22301:2019 standard starting from its date of issue until 30th October 2022.
  • All ISO 22301:2012 Certifications shall expire or be withdrawn at the end of the transition period (30th October 2022)
  • Conduction of initial and re-certification audits according to ISO 22301:2012 shall cease on 30.04.2021.
  • After 30th October 2022, it is not allowed to maintain the validity of ISO 22301:2012 Certification.
