This certification pertains to the handling and distribution of hot and cold meals within the Lounge.
The ISO 22000 standard, which outlines the fundamental requirements for the development and continuous improvement of the Food Safety Management System, ensures control and safety across all stages of the food supply chain. With this new certification, AEGEAN once again demonstrates its commitment to offering safe and high-quality services to passengers visiting its Lounge, implementing practices that meet the strictest international requirements.
The certification, conducted under TÜV AUSTRIA’s Inspection and Certification Process in early October, is valid for three years and will be regularly monitored throughout this period.
