TÜV AUSTRIA Hellas, closely following all relevant developments in the agri-food chain and providing complete inspection, audit and certification services in the food market, recently received its accreditation for the provision of inspection and certification services of organic products from the Hellenic Accreditation System (ESYD). Also, TÜV AUSTRIA Hellas has been approved from the Ministry of Agricultural Development and Food Chain (ΦΕΚ Β 599/14.03.2013). The accreditation includes the whole certification framework in organic products for crop production, animal production, animal feeding and processing according to the European Regulations (EC) 834/2007 and (EC) 889/2008 and the National Legislation (ΚΥΑ 245090/2006)
TÜV AUSTRIA Hellas’ accreditation in the organic products completes the integrated services in inspection and certification at the food market, which begins from the integrated management of primary crop production of conventional agriculture (AGRO 2.1-2.2, GLOBALGAP-Fresh Fruits and Vegetables-), continues with the food processing (HACCP, ISO 22000, BRC, BRC-IOP IFS, FSSC 22000, IFS Logistics, IFS Broker), and the integrated management of the pig meat quality assurance (AGRO 3.1-3.2-3.3-3.4) and leads to the certification in all organic products. In all the above subjects the Greek experience and the Greek know-how is being utilized.
