Brief Description
AH-DLL GROW is applied by individual producers and producer groups who supply fruit and vegetable products either directly or through their suppliers to Albert Heijn in the Netherlands or Delhaize in Belgium.
All producers must be certified in Integrated Farm Assurance (IFA) for fruits and vegetables, as the audit is based on existing IFA requirements.
Detailed Description
AH-DLL GROW consists of Principles and Criteria (P&C) classified either as Major Musts, which require 100% compliance, or Recommendations. The AH-DLL GROW checklist contains specific Albert Heijn/Delhaize requirements that are audited together with the ones of the Integrated Farm Assurance (IFA) standard for fruits and vegetables.
The sections include :Residue monitoring, General hygiene, Product hygiene, Handling hygiene, Foreign bodies/substances.

Who are the certification schemes aimed at?
AH-DLL GROW is a private add-on to the Integrated Farm Assurance (IFA) standard for producers supplying Dutch Albert Heijn and/or Belgian Delhaize.
What are the benefits of obtaining the certification?
The producer will need to be invited by a specific AH-DLL service provider (directly or through a supplier) to implement the GROW scheme. The producer is officially informed about the GROW addition before they can register with the certification body.
