Who Is it Addressed To?

The scheme concerns employees who specialize in Renewable Energy Sources and work on the maintenance, repair, and operation of self-generation units. They perform maintenance tasks using appropriate instruments, devices, and equipment on electrical installations within their specialty. They identify and restore faults or malfunctions in self-generation units and apply the necessary instructions for their repair. They understand and process plans, studies, and technical files related to the construction, modification, use, and maintenance of the units, ensuring that all relevant documents are up to date. They conduct inspections of electrical installations in accordance with current regulations and safety standards.

Certification Procedure

The examination process consists of a theoretical examination.

Upon successful completion of the examinations, the professional is awarded a certificate of compliance that is valid for five years.

The Certification procedure for this specialization is Accredited by the Hellenic Accreditation System (E.SY.D.), National Accreditation System (E.SY.D.), in accordance with the requirements of the ISO/IEC 17024 International Standard.
