Mr. Nikos Galanis, Commercial Director of TÜV AUSTRIA Labs, has been named to the Food Innovation 50 list, standing out for the innovation he brings to the food and beverage sector in Greece.

Food Innovation 50 is an initiative aimed at recognizing and celebrating the leading figures shaping the future of the food and beverage industry in the country. The list honors individuals who, through their dedication, experience, and innovative thinking, develop innovative products and services in various sectors, benefiting both consumers and the companies themselves.

Mr. Nikos Galanis, being an agronomist of Food Science and Human Nutrition, Microbiology and Food Safety of the Agricultural University of Athens, has been a Quality Control Manager in two large supermarket chains. With master’s degrees in Food Chemistry and Business Administration, Mr. Galanis has been the head of the Commercial Management of TÜV AUSTRIA Labs since 2015.

The honored executive stated: “I am particularly proud of this distinction, which recognizes my daily work as well as the overall efforts of the food analysis laboratory. With a commitment to promoting research and development (R&D) in the food and beverage sector, our constant goal is to improve the quality, safety, and nutritional value of products.
