On Saturday, May 9th, 2026, the Greek Final of the Microsoft Office Specialist World Championship was held at the offices of TÜV AUSTRIA in Greece. Τhe competition was organized by ACTA, a subsidiary of TÜV AUSTRIA.
At the same time, the award ceremony of the 1st Greek Final of the Adobe Certified Professional World Championship took place, marking the official introduction of the competition into the Greek educational landscape.
The Adobe Certified Professional National Final was held on April 25th, 2026, at the Vocational training school of OMIROS, with the participation of the top 10 competitors in Greece.
A total of 100 students aged 13–22 from across the country participated in the Microsoft Office Specialist Final, competing for a place at the World Final in California, USA, in the summer of 2026.
The competitions assessed advanced digital and creative skills in:
- Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint (Office 365)
- Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
The three National Microsoft Office Specialist Champions of 2026 who will represent Greece at the World Final are:
- Microsoft Word (365): Natalia Gorozidou
- Microsoft Excel (365): Sofia Gousiou
- Microsoft PowerPoint (365): Danai Tselembi
The Silver and Bronze National Microsoft Office Specialist Champions of 2026 are:
- Microsoft Word (365): 2nd Place: Melina Konidari, 3rd Place: Eleni Koulerda
- Microsoft Excel (365): 2nd Place: Kassiani Niki Kouretsi, 3rd Place: Sofia Rafailia Pantelidou
- Microsoft PowerPoint (365): 2nd Place: Polyxeni Maria Chatzopoulou, 3rd Place: Evangelia Korkovelou
The National Adobe Certified Professional Champions of 2026 are:
- 1st Place: Kyriaki Grigoriadi
- 2nd Place: Oliwia Obrzut
- 3rd Place: Nikolaos Kanellopoulos
The winners will enjoy a unique experience by participating in the World Championship Finals, competing for international success and significant awards, while also having the opportunity to experience the magic of Disneyland up close.

The event was also honored by the presence of Mr. Sotirios Starfas, Account Technology Strategist South East Europe, Microsoft Elevate for Education; Mr. Vasileios Bouloukos, Training Director of SAEK OMIROS; and Mr. Alexandros Theodoridis, Co‑Founder of the NGO “Boroume”.
An honorary plaque was also awarded to Magdalini Amygdalia Nikolaou, a student of Ekpaideftiki Anagennisi, as the youngest participant in this year’s Microsoft Office Specialist National Final.
